~The Time Was World War I~
Transylvania was sitting in the library of Castle Transylvania and reading. There wasn't anything important to worry about. Sure there was the war, but none of her allies had been captured and she really shouldn't get involved anyway. She was allies with both Germany and Austria, and they're the ones that started the entire fiasco...well Germany started it and Austria retaliated. But anyway, unless one of them was taken captive, there was nothing for her to do except sit back and wait. Sure, Italy was taken captive, but she didn't care. It's not like she was allies with him. All in all, things were quite uneventful. She hadn't even found a reason to change out of her ankle-length, white, spaghetti strap nightgown that morning so she just put her matching short sleeve robe over it and put on some white flats.
Just an uneventful day with no work involved.
Or so she thought.
"Lady Transylvania!" the butler, Fredrik, rushed into the library.
"What is it Fredrik?" Transylvania casually got up from her chair and put the book she was reading away.
"Austria has just been captured by Germany," Fredrik announced.
Well so much for nothing to do. Now she had to go rescue an ungrateful, bossy aristocrat.
Oh goody.
"That man is completely hopeless," Transylvania muttered as she got up.
That's how World War I started for Transylvania.
Not a good day.

Wrote this in Algebra 2 when I should'v been paying attention. I had a flashback of the beginning of APH when Germany says 'The Time Was World War I" so I randomly wrote it down. Then I remembered what caused the war (long story short Germany assassinated someone important from Austria) and I was like, 'that would suck for Transylvania cause she's allies with both of them, what would she do?'
Then I looked down and found out my pen decided what would happen for me...that happens a lot...
P.S. Transylvania doesn't really like anyone. She liked America, but that was when he was little and freakishly adorable.
